REQUEST FOR RENEWAL OF QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM FOR RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL PACKAGES (71-0334)
GPU Nuclear, Inc. (GPUN) requests renewal of the Quality Assurance (QA) Program Approval for Radioactive Material Packages No. 0334, which expires October 31, 2009. In accordance with 10CFR 71.101 (f), GPUN will apply its previously approved Post-Defueling Monitored Storage Quality Assurance Plan (PDMS QA Plan) for Three Mile Island Unit 2, to the transportation activities. The PDMS QA Plan was submitted to the NRC by letter dated August 25, 1988. The staff approved the plan by letter dated June 3, 1992.
