Riverkeeper Letter to ACRS Re Sept. 10-12 Meeting to Discuss Indian Point LRA and FSER Mr. Wen:

Attached please find a letter from Riverkeeper, Inc. intended for ACRS Chairman, Mario V. Bonaca, in regards to the September 1012, 2009 ACRS meeting, which is slated to have discussions about the License Renewal Application and Final Safety Evaluation Report for Indian Point. We wanted to communicate to the ACRS prior to next weeks meeting to confirm our understanding that Riverkeepers previously submitted comments (dated February 27, 2009 and April 16, 2009) will be under consideration by the full committee.

Should you recommend that a hard copy be sent to Mr. Bonaca, can you please provide the applicable address, since my past attempt to send our comments via U.S. mail was unsuccessful.

Additionally, can you advise as to whether the ACRS meeting will be transcribed, and the transcript made available to the public?

Thank you very much for accepting the attached letter on behalf of the ACRS. Should you have any questions, or wish to discuss any of the foregoing, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely, Deborah Brancato Staff Attorney Riverkeeper, Inc.
