APPROVAL OF ANNUAL FINANCIAL TEST UPDATE FOR DECOMMISSIONING FINANCIAL ASSURANCE (TAC NO. L32829)
Dear Mr. Murray:
This refers to the Annual Financial Test Update and affidavit transmitted by letter from Keith S.
Sherin, General Electric (GE) Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer, dated March 19, 2009, for the Global Nuclear Fuel - Americas, Reuter Stokes, Vallecitos Nuclear Center, and Morris facilities.
The reviewers determined that the financial test performed by GE demonstrated continued qualification to use a parent company guarantee as financial assurance for decommissioning costs. This was determined to be acceptable.
TAC L32829 is considered closed.
