Quality Assurance Program Approval for Radioactive Material Packages No. 0019, Revision 8, dated July 1, 2004.
The purpose of this letter is to apply for renewal of R.E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant, LLC's (Ginna LLC's) Quality Assurance (QA) Program Approval for Radioactive Material Packages No. 0019. Ginna LLC's current Program Approval No. 0019 (Revision 8) will expire on June 30, 2009.
QA Program Approval No. 0019, Revision 8, was issued by the NRC on July 1, 2004 (Reference a) for the above activities. Pursuant to 10 CFR 71.101(f), the approved 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B Quality Assurance Program for Ginna LLC as implemented by the Constellation "Quality Assurance Topical Report" (Enclosure 1) satisfies the provisions of 10 CFR Part 71, Subpart H, with respect to transportation packages.
