SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT - DISCHARGE MONITORING REPORT FOR JULY 2009 Enclosed is the July, 2009 Discharge Monitoring Report for Sequoyah Nuclear Plant certified by the duly authorized representative. On 7/8/09, the pH on Outfall 103 exceeded the limit due to a suspected algae bloom. Sulfuric acid was added to the pond and on. 7/9/09 the pH was within limits. This excess is. being addressed through Sequoyah's corrective action program in order to reduce, eliminate, and prevent recurrence.
