On behalf of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), we thank you and your organization for being a Charter member of the Clean Texas Program. This year the program went through some changes. First and foremost, the program has a new name "Clean Texas, Cleaner World."
Organizations can now participate at one of four levels: Advocate, Partner, Lone Star Leader, and National Leader. The program also has a new logo and mark~ting tools; visitwww.cleantexas.orgfor more details.
As a Charter member, your first membership period is comingto a close. It is time for you to report on
-your achievements and begin thinking about renewing your membership. Below you will find yo~
Environmental Improvement Commitments. Use this infonnation to complete your Clean Texas, Cleaner World Performance Report found at www.cleantexas.org, where you can download the report in Microsoft Word. Members submitting their Performance Report will receive a "Performance Certificate"; reports are due back by August 1, 2004. Please e-mail completed reports to Larissa Peter at Ipeter@tceq.state.tx.us Groudwater Used Hazardous Waste Reduction Recycling Goals You will be reporting your achievements for the above commitments for 2001, 2002, and 2003.
The Performance Report consists of four sections:
Section I: Tell Us About Yourself-to provide up-to-date information about your organization.
Please note any changes in your organization's contact information.
Section n: Share Your Environmental Achievements-to summarize the results of your organization's environmental improvements Section ill: Tell Us About Your Outreach Programs-to summarize your internal environmental programs and community environmental service projects.
Section IV: Tell Us How We Can Help-to tell us how we can help you reach your goals, and to identify incentives that will be useful to you. This will assist us in further developing and adding value to Clean Texas, Cleaner World.

The information you provide wil~ be used to highlight your Clean Texas, Cleaner World projects. Your successes will be used in various marketing materials such as the Clean Texas, Cleaner World web site, Clean Texas, Cleaner World Progress Repor( Texas Environmental Excellence Awards Program plus in feature articles and case studies to highlight your organization's achievements.
After you complete your Performance Report, it is time to start setting new goals and renewing your commitments for this Fall. The updated Partner Application is included to help you renew your.
