IPEC Flooded Walkway Kim, Brian asked Garry Young about the flooded walkway that we have talked about before. He said that no one has gotten back to him on this question. See response below.

We found one instance where water was flowing over a walkway at the security guard house. That was from a valve packing leak in the fire water system. This valve packing leak is managed by the Fire Protection program for fire water and is not a Buried Piping program issue.

The only other flooding that I know of was in the IP1 utility tunnel, but all of the piping in the tunnel is mounted on the sides of the tunnel on supports. There is no Buried Piping program issues involved in this instance.
