Schrage (Exelon Generation Company, LLC), "Audit Results Summary Report, Request To Implement Ganged Control Rod Withdrawal Capability, Exelon Generation, La Salle County Station, Facility Operating License No. NPF-11/NPF-18," ADAMS Accession No. ML0833902904, dated January 29, 2009 In Reference 1, Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) submitted a license amendment request (LAR) for LaSalle County Station (LSCS), Units 1 and 2, following two pre-submittal meetings with the NRC on September 16, 2006 and January 26, 2007. The results of these meetings are documented in References 2 and 3. The LAR requested NRC approval to revise the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report to allow ganged control rod drive capability as part of the Rod Control Management System modification.

In response to both verbal and written NRC Requests for Additional Information concerning the LAR, EGC provided supplemental information in References 4 through 10.

EGC provided additional information during an NRC audit at the EGC Kennett Square, PA office on November 24, 2008. The results of this audit are documented in Reference 11.

After further discussions with the NRC on July 17, 2009, EGC has elected to withdraw the LAR.
