FORTHCOMING MEETING WITH PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY DATE & TIME: Wednesday, July 22, 2009 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Two White Flint North 11545 Rockville Pike, Room T2B5 Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the basis for the Request for Technical Specification (TS) Interpretation submitted by Pacific Gas &

Electric (PG&E) by dated February 23, 2009. PG&E had requested the NRC concurrence with PG&E's position regarding the basis for operability of the 230 kV offsite power system as controlled by TSs 3.8.1, "AC Sources - Operating," and 3.8.2, "AC Sources - Shutdown."

• This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
