Dear Mr. Adams:
Please accept this written notification of Dr. Robert Flocchini's retirement from the UC Davis McClellan Nuclear Radiation Center (MNRC). Dr. Flocchini will officially retire on June 29, 2009.
Until the appointment of a new Director, I will assume the Interim Director role. I have convened an on-site support team to work with me to ensure a seamless functioning in the day-to-day operations.
Dr, Flocchini's years of service and expertise will certainly, be missed at the MNRC, but our strong administrative and technical team will effectively carry on the work until a permanent director is appointed.
