Dear Mr. Conway:

This refers to the information session and public meeting conducted at the Embassy Suites Hotel in San Luis Obispo, California, on May 28, 2009. During these events, the NRCs annual performance assessment of Diablo Canyon was discussed and members of the public presented questions and comments to an NRC panel led by representatives from Region IVs Divisions of Reactor Projects and Nuclear Materials Safety. Additionally, NRC personnel from the Offices of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, Research, Nuclear Security and Incident Response, Congressional Affairs, and Public Affairs were on the panel. The meeting attendance list and the slideshow presentation are enclosed.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter, its enclosures, and your response (if any) will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
