Dear Mr. Pardee:

This letter is to inform you that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission will conduct a Category 3 public meeting/open house at 6:00 p.m. CDT on May 11, 2009, at the Elks Club in Clinton, IL.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide an open public forum for the Agency to discuss NRC activities and nuclear power issues with the public. In addition, members of the NRC will be available to discuss the assessment of Clinton station performance. Exelon is encouraged to attend this meeting.
