3 General Project Information
- Approximately 210 acre island area within the Turkey Point Plant Property
- Finished grade at nuclear island will be raised approximately 26 ft due to storm surge wave run up
- Estimates are for use of upwards of 10 million cubic yards of fill Turkey Point Units 6 & 7 will require extensive earthwork Site Plan

- Plant Construction
- Prepare nuclear island foundation surface preparation with dental concrete
- Place Lean concrete under the nuclear island
- Install mud mat under the nuclear island
- Install waterproofing under the nuclear island
- Erect safety-related concrete placement forms
- Install turbine, annex, and radwaste buildings foundations
- Install permanent reinforced concrete diaphragm wall to facilitate excavation for the nuclear island
- Site preparation and erection of the Training Building, which will house the Technical Support Center.
- Site preparation and erection of the Maintenance Shop / Office Building, which will house the Operations Support Center.
Turkey Point Units 6 & 7 - LWA would allow site work to continue Following LWA Issuance (3rd Qtr 2011)
