MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - PUBLIC MEETING/OPEN HOUSE RIVER BEND STATION, DOCKET NO. 50-458 Mr. Perito, This letter confirms a Category 3 public meeting which has been scheduled for April 23, 2009, at 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (CST). The enclosed meeting notice provides additional details. The purpose of the meeting is to provide opportunities to discuss the annual assessment of River Bend Station with the public. The NRC will be available to ensure the publics issues and concerns are understood and considered.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS). The purpose of the meeting/open house session is to provide opportunities to discuss the annual assessment of River Bend Station with the public. The NRCs Policy Statement, Enhancing Public Participation in NRC Meetings, effective May 28, 2002, applies to this meeting. The policy statement may be found on the NRC Web site, www.nrc.gov. The NRC provides reasonable accommodation to participate where appropriate.
