SUBJECT:

INVITATION TO ATTEND QUAD CITIES END-OF CYCLE ASSESSMENT MEETING I am writing on behalf of the Regional Administrator to invite you to attend a meeting with staff from Region III of the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). At this meeting we will explain for you the NRCs findings from the past years Reactor Oversight Process (ROP) at the Quad Cities Plant.

The NRC uses the ROP to determine nuclear plant safety performance. We would like to answer any questions you may have about Quad Cities performance.

The Quad Cities ROP Public Meeting is scheduled on April 7, 2009, at 6:00 p.m., at the Best Western SteepleGate Inn, 100 West 76th Street, Davenport, Iowa.

I hope you can attend this meeting. I am sure you will find it beneficial, and I look forward to meeting you there. If you know of other local officials that might be interested in attending, please let me know.
