RE: Seismic meeting Categories: Yellow Category Let me poll my people on the 13th, then, as that would allow folks travel time out to CA for the funeral. I think there may have been a conflict with Carl Constantino, though. I will check.

We were still trying to get a venue for the NGA meeting. It turned out to be challenging and I'm starting to believe we can't stick with our original scheduled dates because the point is in getting as many people as possible there.

I didn't realize the date had been set for Allin. That, of course, is out for us too then.

If you can find a time that works for you, then go ahead. I'll work around it.

Becky and Annie Does this mean that you are not having the public meeting on the seismic research activities on February 13th and 14th? These are our first choice dates if they are available.

Note that there is a memorial service on February 15th for Allin Cornell at Stanford that will involve many folks from the seismic community; so the 15th is out. Thanks.

Leslie

Seismic meeting

Becky, I have checked further with our folks. Assuming that Annie's meeting is on February 13th and 14th, we could offer the 11th, 12th, or 15th (preferably something that is adjacent so folks will not have to hang out in DC longer than necessary. Also, we are happy to split the meetings to work around the availability of different staff groups, but would need to still have them in the same day or one in the afternoon and the next in the morning to cut down on travel since the utility folks are the same for each applicant. Only a few of our experts are limited to certain topics.

If that week is out, we can offer February 19-21. Note that we'd need to start on the afternoon of the 19th so our folks can get into town and have a pre-meeting. February 8th will not work for us.

Thanks again for your efforts in coordinating this. Have a nice weekend.

Leslie

Re: Fwd: Seismic meeting

Leslie, Please see below for a potential conflict with some of the dates. I am still checking with our folks, though, including all of those who need to be involved if we are also talking about high frequency. I just emailed them, so Idon't know their availability at all yet.

Becky, Those dates all work for me at the moment, but the 13th and 14th are dates on the table for the next NGA-East workshop (the ones that some people--including Leslie-had noted they wanted to attend).

I'll try to work around your date (in fact it would be convenient to have back to back dates for travel purposes),

but it would be helpful to know as soon as possible which day you want.

Regards, Annie

Happy New Year Becky and Ram, 2

We are exploring dates with the industry for the next seismic meeting.

We will have a phone call next week to make sure these dates are okay for the majority of the group, but I wanted to see if any of these would work for your team.

  • Morning of Friday, February 8th
  • Aftemoon of Wednesday, February 13th
  • Afternoon of Thursday, February 14th I will let you know more after our conference call on Wednesday.

Please let me know if you have a preference for any of these dates or if we need to seek alternatives.

We anticipate that the topics will include high frequency, ITAAC for backfill materials, Dames and Moore, and possibly the East Tennessee Seismic Zone.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
