Docket No.71-489 Attention: Document Control Desk The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) is currently a registered user of the CNS 8-120B Package (Docket No. 71-9168), under the general license provisions of 10 CFR 71.17 "General license: NRC-approved package." SMUD continues to maintain and implement an NRC-approved quality assurance program that satisfies the requirements in 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B and 10 CFR 72, Subpart G.
We are requesting that the NRC continue our QA program approval so that we can continue to use the NRC-approved Model No. CNS 8-120B transportation package. We maintain a copy of the Certificate of Compliance and comply with the terms and conditions of the CoC.
