Serial No.09-088 Docket No. 50-338/339 Page 3 of 3 Summary of Settlement Monitorinq Procedure Revision The following items were revised in periodic test procedure 0-PT-1 15, Survey of Settlement Monitoring Points, approved February 4, 2009:

1. Test procedure references for Reference Monument "K" were removed from the test procedure.

Reference Monument "K" is located outside of the station Protective Area adjacent to the west end security gate.

Reference Monument "K" was originally installed to provide a turning point for survey loop closure.

It has been determined that any solid surface near the west end security will provide the same function.

The monument is being removed as a result of site preparation work associated with the proposed North Anna Unit 3. Loop closure is validated using the current Reference Monument "J".

2. The Kern centering heads have been removed from Reference Monuments "A" and "B" to eliminate a human performance concern when performing the surveys. The reference monument illustration, an attachment to the test procedure, has been revised to no longer depict the Kern centering heads. Only Reference Monuments "A" and "B" had Kern centering heads.

The procedure change does not impact the design, function, ability to function, method of performing the function, or control or operation of a system, structure or component.
