Withdrawal of Two Proposals from the Proposed Revision to the Fermi 2 Radiological Emergency Response Preparedness Plan The purpose of this letter is to withdraw proposals 3 and 5 in Reference 2. Proposal 3 requested NRC approval of revising the list of 60-minute responders in Table B-1 of the Radiological Emergency Response Preparedness (RERP) Plan to delete one Support Engineer. Proposal 5 requested approval of the deletion of the Quality Assurance Advisor position.
USNRC NRC-08-0078 Page 2 In Reference 2, Detroit Edison submitted a proposed revision to the Radiological Emergency Response Preparedness Plan for Fermi 2. This proposed revision requested approval for five changes. Detroit Edison previously withdrew the request for approval of Proposal 4, to delete the Emergency Operations Facility (EOF)
Coordinator position (References 3 and 4). Based on discussions with NRC staff on December 18, 2008, NRC approval of proposals 3 and 5 are not required. Detroit Edison is hereby withdrawing the request for approval of Proposal 3 and 5.
