12 Inspection Results

  • Supports a conclusion there is Reasonable Assurance that aging effects will be adequately managed
  • Scoping of non-safety systems was acceptable
  • Documentation supporting the application was auditable & retrievable

13 Application Revisions

  • Selective Leaching

- Operating experience showed a history of buried fire water pipe leaching damage

- Added plant specific program to monitor

  • One Time Inspections

- Sample selection criteria unclear

- Enhanced to add a representative sample size

  • Inaccessible Medium Voltage Cables

- Operating experience showed a history of flooded manholes

- Added a plant specific program for cable testing

  • Fuel Oil Chemistry

- No testing of wall thickness for fuel oil tanks

- Enhanced to add appropriate testing

- Enhanced to add opportunistic inspections

- Added an Exception to not flush some stagnate lines (to spent fuel pool & aux feedwater)

  • In response, you performed an apparent cause evaluation an extend of condition review

- No other gaps were identified

  • In addition, based on inspection observations, you made several less significant aging management program changes, which may not have required an application revision.
