Dear Mr. Marion:

The purpose of this letter is to provide you with the draft revision of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) Digital Instrumentation and Control (DI&C) Project Plan (Enclosure 1) for review and comment.

The DI&C Project Plan was initially issued on July 12, 2007 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML071900253) and was revised on March 14, 2008 (ML080220448).

This draft revision of the project plan will be discussed at the next public meeting of the NRCs DI&C Steering Committee on December 11, 2008. The Steering Committee looks forward to receiving any comments you may have as it considers final changes to the draft. We expect to issue the project plan early in March.

If you have any questions, please contact Stewart Bailey at 301-415-1321.

Sincerely,

/RA/
