Dear Mr. Archie:
This letter confirms the conversation between Mr. Bruce Thompson of your staff and Mr. Daniel Arnett of the NRC staff on November 18, 2008, concerning a Category 1 public meeting which has been scheduled for December 11, 2008 at 10:00 a.m (EDT). The meeting will be at the Region II Office, Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center, 61 Forsyth Street S.W., Atlanta, GA, in Suite 24T20. The meeting, which is being conducted at your request, is to review the accomplishments achieved during the Spring 2008 refueling outage and future workforce planning at your Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station. The notice, which provides additional details, is enclosed.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS).
