Enclosed is copy one (of six) of Revision XlII of the Security Plan for the U.S.
Geological Survey Research Reactor, docket 50-274. The enclosed document is Safeguards Information - Modified Handling and must be controlled as such.
It is the evaluation of the reactor staff and the USGS Reactor Operations Committee that the proposed changes do not decrease the effectiveness of the security plan and therefore are allowed to be made without prior approval of the Commission, in accordance with the provision of 10CFR 50.54(p).
