Dear Mr. Bannister:
By [[letter::LIC-08-0008, License Amendment Request (LAR) Revision to Technical Specification (TS) 2.5(1)A, Auxiliary Feedwater (AFW) System|letter dated February 5, 2008]] (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML080360537), you applied for an amendment to the Fort Calhoun Station (FCS), Unit No.1, Facility Operating License No. DPR-40. The proposed change would have modified the FCS Technical Specifications (TS) to eliminate the second condition of Limiting Conditions for Operation (LCO) 2.5(1 )(A), which pertains to the auxiliary feedwater system.
Subsequently, by letter dated November 10,2008 (ADAMS Accession No. ML083170339),
you determined that the license amendment was not required at this time and withdrew the amendment request.
The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to Facility Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
