Dr.
Swaney is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering and has been a member of the University of Wisconsin Faculty since 1985.
Dr.
Swaney received the degrees of BSChE, MSChE and Ph.D.
in chemical engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University.
His research interests are in the area of Systems Modeling and include process modeling for the Advanced Fuel Cycle Initiative (AFCI) spent nuclear fuel reprocessing plant design.
