KEWAUNEE POWER STATION AND ISFSI NOTIFICATION PURSUANT TO 10 CFR 72.212(b)(1)(i) PRIOR TO FIRST STORAGE OF SPENT FUEL UNDER A GENERAL LICENSE Pursuant to 10 CFR 72.212, "Conditions of general license issued under 72.210,"
paragraph (b)(1)(i), Dominion Energy Kewaunee, Inc. (DEK) is notifying the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of our intent to begin loading Kewaunee Power Station spent fuel into Transnuclear Standardized NUHOMS 32PT storage casks under the general license at Kewaunee Power Station.
Loading activities are scheduled to commence on or about July 29, 2009. DEK will use the Transnuclear Standardized NUHOMS storage system in accordance with the NRC issued Certificate of Compliance No. 1004.
