Dear Mr. Adams:

With this letter, I would like to inform you of the change of personnel and duties at the University of Florida Training Reactor. As of October 14, 2008, Dr. William Vernetson retired from the University of Florida. At the request of the Dean of College of Engineering, Dr. Pramod Khargonekar, in addition to being the Chair of the Nuclear & Radiological Engineering (NRE)

Department, I have accepted to serve as the Interim Director of the UFTR. In this capacity, I will direct the educational and research mission of the facility and be in charge of administration of the UFTR. Mr. Brian Shea, Reactor Manager, will manage the day-to-day operations, coordinate and conduct regular and unpredicted maintenance, and interact with the NRC on regulatory, safety, and security issues. I would appreciate it if you would add Mr. Shea's information to your mailing list as given below:
