INSPECTION REPORT 05000416/2008007)

Dear Mr. Douet:

In a telephone conversation on August 27, 2008, Ms. Rita Jackson and Mr. John Kirkland made

arrangements for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to inspect the site-specific

implementation of B.5.b Phase 2 and 3 mitigating strategies at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station.

The inspection is planned for the week of November 3, 2008.

In order for the NRC to adequately prepare for this inspection, please furnish the documents

listed in Enclosure 1 to Mr. Kirkland in electronic format no later than September 17, 2008.

Please have available on site at the beginning of the inspection the arrangements and

documents listed in Enclosure 2. Ms. Rita Jackson has been advised of this request and

provided with the name and address of the NRC lead inspector.

This letter contains information collections that are subject to the Paperwork Reduction Act of

1995 (44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq.). These information collections were approved by the Office of

Management and Budget, approval number 3150-0011.
