Nuclear Regulatory Commission, "Response to Request for Additional Information Concerning Relief Requests Associated with the Second Inservice Inspection (lSI) Interval," dated September 8,2008 In the Reference 1 letter, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55a, "Codes and standards," Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC), requested relief from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,Section XI, "Rules for Inservice Inspection of Nuclear Power Plant Components. II These reliefs apply to the second 10-year interval inservice inspection program, which concluded on January 31,2007.
Relief Request RR-36 Associated with the Second Inservice Inspection (lSI) Interval September 29, 2008 Page 2 Based on further discussions with the NRC, EGC hereby withdraws RR-36. The remainder of the relief requests in the Reference 1 submittal are not affected by this letter.
