) ASLBP No. 05-839-02-EA NRC STAFF STATUS REPORT In accordance with the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board Order of April 6, 2006, directing the Staff to file status reports on events that materially affect the scheduling in the criminal proceeding, the Staff hereby informs the Board that on August 26, 2008, the federal district court jury returned a verdict in the case of Andrew Siemaszko of guilty on Counts 1, 2, and 5 of the criminal indictment. Sentencing of Mr. Siemaszko has not been scheduled yet, but will not occur until at least 15 weeks following the jury verdict.
