The Licensing Board is currently working on its Initial Decision in the above-referenced proceeding. The Board having formally closed the record in the proceeding on June 4, 2008,1 the guideline date for issuing the decision under 10 C.F.R. Part 2, Appendix B.II, Model Milestones for Hearings Conducted Under 10 CFR Part 2, Subpart L, would be September 2, 2008. Due to various factors, including other duties and previously scheduled absences of Board members during recent months and continuing into September, the Board hereby provides notice that it currently anticipates issuing its Initial Decision during October 2008.
