'Security Officer Attentiveness,"' dated February 11, 2008 Enclosed is the Union Electric Company (AmerenUE) 35-day response to NRC Request for Additional Information dated July 3, 2008, related to AmerenUE's February 11, 2008, written response to Bulletin 2007-01, "Security Officer Attentiveness," for Callaway Plant (Reference 1).

The bulletin was issued to request information regarding security program administrative and management controls established to prevent, identify and correct security personnel inattentiveness, especially complicity, as well as failures to implement the Behavior Observation Program (BOP), by or for licensee security personnel including security contractors and subcontractors.

The responses to the questions/requests contained in the NRC's Request for Additional Information (RAI) are provided in the enclosure to this letter.

Specifically, Enclosure 1 contains each RAI question/request followed by AmerenUE' s response. Please note the information provided in Enclosure 1 is security related information that AmerenUE considers sensitive as it discusses specific security operations. Therefore, AmerenUE requests that the contents of the enclosure be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390.
