Dear Mr. Campbell:

This refers to the Category 1 public meeting conducted at your staffs request at the Region II Office in Atlanta, Georgia, on July 31, 2008, at 10:00 a.m.. The meetings purpose was to discuss plant performance and enhancements at your Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2.

The discussion included the following topics: organization changes, plant performance, business plan, operations, work management, equipment reliability and safety culture. A list of attendees and the presentation material used for the discussion are enclosed.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
