SENIOR REACTOR OPERATOR INITIAL EXAMINATIONS - ST. LUCIE
NUCLEAR PLANT - 05000335/2008301 AND 05000389/2008301
Dear Mr. Duston:
The purpose of this letter is to confirm the final arrangements for the upcoming operator
licensing examinations at the St. Lucie Nuclear Plant.
The NRC has completed its review of the operator license applications submitted in connec-
tion with this examination. A list of approved applicants was provided to you by facsimile
transmission on July 22, 2008. Please contact Mr. Rick Baldwin at (404) 562-4642, Mr. Phillip
Capehart at (404) 562-4483, or me at (404) 562-4550 if you did not receive this facsimile
transmission. Note that any examination waivers and application denials have been addressed
in separate correspondence.
The NRC has approved the subject examinations and hereby authorizes you to administer the
written examinations on July 31, 2008, in accordance with Revision 9 of NUREG-1021,
Operator Licensing Examination Standards for Power Reactors. The NRC staff will administer
the operating tests July 23 - 25 and July 28 - 30, 2008.

562-4483 if you have any questions or identify any errors or changes in the license level (RO or
SRO) or type of examination (partial or complete written examination and/or operating test)
specified for each applicant.
