MANAGEMENT CHANGES AFFECTING POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT AND DUANE ARNOLD ENERGY CENTER

Several management changes were announced by FPL Group, Inc. Terry Jones has been named as the Operation Vice President for the Midwest Region with responsibility for Duane Arnold and Point Beach. He replaces Mark Warner who will become the Vice-President of Nuclear Plant Support at the Juno Beach (Florida) Headquarters.
Larry Meyer will replace Jim McCarthy as the Point Beach Site Vice-President. Mr. Meyer has previous experience with TVA, D.C. Cook, Crystal River, Davis Besse, and Atomic Energy of Canada Limited. Jim McCarthy will become the Vice-President of Point Beach Recovery, a new organization with a full-time focus on Point Beach improvement.
Raj Kundalkar was selected to be the Vice-President for Power Uprate whose focus will be on uprates, fuels, and other major projects. He will report to the Chief Nuclear Officer, Art Stall.
Abdy Khanpour replaces Mr. Kundalkar as the Vice-President of Engineering Support and will report to Mano Nazar, Senior Vice-President and Nuclear Chief Operating Officer.
These changes will take place during the month of June.
