MILLSTONE POWER STATION UNITS 2 AND 3 SUPPLEMENT TO PROPOSED TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE:
ASME CODE REFERENCE UPDATE Dominion Nuclear Connecticut, Inc. (DNC) submitted the proposed technical specification (TS) change, ASME Code Reference Update (LBDCR 07-MP2-014 & 07-MP3-009) for Millstone Power Station Units 2 and 3 on July 2, 2007 (Serial No. 07-0207). This information clarifies DNC's intent to continue to apply the requirements of Technical SpecificatiQn (TS) 4.0.3 to the In-Service Testing (1ST) program at Millstone Power Station. Attachment 1 includes a revised mark-up of the applicable TS page for Millstone Power Station Unit 2 (MPS2). Attachment 2 includes a revised mark-up of the applicable TS page for Millstone Power Station Unit 3 (MPS3).
The information provided by this letter does not affect the conclusions of the significant hazards consideration discussion in the July 2, 2007 DNC Letter.
To coordinate implementation of the proposed amendments with the start of the next In-Service Testing (1ST) interval (December 2, 2008), DNC requests approval of the proposed amendments by July 31,2008 with the amendment being implemented within 180 days of issuance.
