The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has reviewed the Friends United for Sustainable Energy petition, dated June 25, 2007. The NRC staffs proposed Directors Decision is enclosed.
I request that Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (the licensee) provide comments to me on any part of the proposed Directors Decision that the licensee believes to be erroneous, or any issues in the petition that, the licensee believes, have not been addressed. The NRC staff will review any comments provided by the licensee and consider them in preparing the final version of the Directors Decision. The licensee will have no further opportunity to comment.
Please provide your comments by June 30, 2008.
