Dear Mr. Martinelli:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has reviewed your petition, dated June 25, 2007. The NRC staffs proposed Directors Decision is enclosed.
I request that Friends United for Sustainable Energy (the Petitioner) provide comments to me on any part of the proposed Directors Decision that the Petitioner believes to be erroneous, or any issues in the petition that, the Petitioner believes, have not been addressed. The NRC staff will review any comments provided by the Petitioner and consider them in preparing the final version of the Directors Decision. The Petitioner will have no further opportunity to comment.
Please provide your comments by June 30, 2008.
