MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - PUBLIC MEETING VOGTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT-50-424 AND 50-425
Dear Mr. Tynan:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. Chalmer Meyer of your staff and Mr. Lou Lake of this office on April 15, 2008, concerning an inspection exit meeting (Category One public meeting) which has been scheduled for June 6, 2008, beginning at 9:00 a.m. (EDT). The meeting notice, which provides location and additional details, is enclosed. The purpose of the meeting is for the NRC to present the results of the NRC=s inspection of the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant license renewal program to be conducted May 19 - June 6, 2008 at the Vogtle site.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's Agency-wide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/NRC/ADAMS/index.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
