90-Day Notification Prior to First Storage of Spent Fuel Pursuant to the requirements of 10CFR72.212.(b)(1)(i), Limerick is notifying NRC at least 90 days prior to the first storage of spent fuel at Limerick's Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI). The loading of spent fuel into a storage cask falls under Limerick Nuclear Power Station Units 1 and 2 general licenses. Loading activities are scheduled to commence July 21, 2008. For the first storage of spent fuel, Limerick will use Transnuclear NUHOMS 61 BT Dry Shielded Canister in accordance with Certificate of Compliance No. 1004.
