Dear Mr. Matherly:

The purpose of this letter is to confirm the final arrangements for the upcoming operator

licensing examinations at the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant.

The NRC has completed its review of the operator license applications submitted in connec-

tion with this examination. A list of approved applicants was provided to you by facsimile

transmission on March 21, 2008. Please contact Mr. Richard Baldwin at (404) 562-4642 or me

at (404) 562-4550 if you did not receive this facsimile transmission. Note that any examination

waivers and application denials have been addressed in separate correspondence.

The NRC has approved the subject examinations and hereby authorizes you to administer the

written examinations on March 25, 2008, in accordance with Revision 9 of NUREG-1021,

AOperator Licensing Examination Standards for Power Reactors.@

or identify any errors or changes in the license level (RO or SRO) or type of examination (partial

or complete written examination and/or operating test) specified for each applicant.
