Dear Mr. Wadley:
In a telephone conversation on March 10, 2008, Mr. J. Kapitz, Security Project Manager, of your staff and Mr. N. Valos, Senior Operations Engineer, of my staff made arrangements for the NRC to inspect the site specific implementation of B.5.b Phase 2 and 3 mitigating strategies at the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant. The inspection is planned for the week of May 12, 2008.
In order for the NRC to adequately prepare for this inspection, please furnish the documents listed in Enclosure 1 to the NRC by the week of April 28, 2008. Additionally, to facilitate the efficient conduct for this inspection, please have available on site at the beginning of the inspection the arrangements and documents listed in Enclosure 2. Mr. J. Kapitz has been advised of this request and provided with the name and address of the NRC lead inspector assigned to this inspection.
This letter contains information collections that are subject to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq.). These information collections were approved by the Office of Management and Budget, approval number 3150-0018, which expires on June 30, 2009.
