Petitioners Westchester Citizen's Awareness Network (WestCAN), Rockland County Conservation Association, Inc. (RCCA), Public Health and Sustainable Energy (PHASE), Sierra Club - Atlantic Chapter (Sierra Club), and New York State Assemblyman Richard L. Brodsky (hereinafter "Petitioners") submit this letter in response to the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board Order of March 7, 2008.

Petitioners respectfully request that oral arguments on admissibility of its contentions be held in or nearby White Plains, N.Y. The public's interest in attending this hearing must be weighed.
Petitioners' clients and the public surrounding the subject nuclear power plant have a right to be presen t at this public hearing. Petitioners' clients and the nearby affected public w~ill be unduly burdened if they are required to travel to Rockville, Maryland for this hearing on April 1, 2008.
Thus, public hearing should be held at a place nearby Indian Point to allow the public to attend the public hearing. Moreover, since oral arguments for the other Intervenors in this matter were held in White Plains, New York, Petitioners' oral argument should also be held in or near Indian Point. Accordingly, Petitioners WestCAN et. al. request that oral arguments be held in White Plains, N.Y. on April 1, 2008.
