Dear Mr. Conroy:
This will acknowledge receipt of your February 19, 2008, payment of the $650,000.00 civil penalty proposed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on January 24, 2008.
We have reviewed Entergy's response to the Notice of Violation and find it acceptable. The NRC will continue to monitor Entergy's diligence in resolving the siren issue with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and in achieving compliance with the NRC Orders.
