Dear Mr. Dietrich:

In a telephone conversation on February 25, 2008, Mr. Joseph DAntonio, Senior Operations Engineer, and Mr. Gary Fronk, Requal Lead Examiner, made arrangements for the U. S.

In accordance with 10 CFR 55.59(c), the NRC may request facility licensees to submit their biennial comprehensive requalification written examinations or annual operating tests as necessary to support the NRC's inspection program needs. In order for the NRC to adequately prepare for this inspection, please furnish: 1) an index or summary of condition reports written in the past two years in which licensed operator errors were determined to be the root or contributing cause; 2) an index or summary of deficiency reports written in the past two years on simulator performance problems, and 3) the examination schedule, sample plan, written examinations (if any) and operating test scheduled for the week of the inspection to the NRC by April 21, 2008. Mr. Fronk has been advised of this request and provided with the name and address of the NRC lead inspector assigned to this inspection.
