MANAGEMENT CHANGES IN NMC/XCEL ENERGY COMPANY

The NMC/Xcel Energy Management, LLC has announced recent changes in its upper management structure at Prairie Island: Paul Huffman, currently Prairie Island Plant Manager, will be taking on the new position of General Manager-Project Engineering (Nuclear) reporting to Charlie Bomberger, Vice President-Nuclear Projects. Mr. Scott Northard, currently the Regulatory Affairs Manager, has been named the new Plant Manager. The transition for this change is scheduled to occur over the next few weeks with the transfer of responsibility after completion of the 1R25 refueling outage.
