CHANGES IN PERRY/DAVIS BESSE SENIOR MANAGEMENT

On February 18, 2008, FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Co. (FENOC) announced that John Grabnar has been named Site Engineering Director at Perry. Mr. Grabnar is currently the Site Engineering Director at Davis-Besse. After receiving his Senior Reactor Operator license at Perry in 2001, he went on to serve as the Davis-Besse Design Engineering Manager before accepting the position as Davis-Besse Site Engineering Director in June 2006.
The current Site Operations manager at Davis-Besse, Don Moul, will succeed Mr. Grabnar as the Davis-Besse Site Engineering Director. Mr. Moul has served as Site Operations manager since June 2006. He has held a number of leadership positions within FENOC at both the Davis-Besse and Beaver Valley sites. Mr. Moul and Mr. Grabnar will be reporting to Senior Vice President of Fleet Engineering Dan Pace. These changes will take effect as soon as each can turn over duties to his successor.
