Dear Sir or Madam:
The purpose of this correspondence is to provide Nebraska Public Power District's (NPPD) 60-day response to U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)Bulletin 2007-01 (Reference).
This Bulletin requested information about security program administrative and management.
controls established to prevent, identify, and correct security personnel inattentiveness, complicity, and failures of individuals to implement the Behavior Observation Program. The attachment to this letter provides NPPD's response to the specific questions listed in the Bulletin for Cooper Nuclear Station. This response is submitted under oath or affirmation in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(f).
Because this response contains security related information, NPPD requests that the attachment to this letter be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390.
