Dear Madam President and Honorable Sirs:
Thank you for your letter dated November 5, 2007, to Entergy CEO Wayne Leonard, which has been forwarded to me for reply. I apologize for the delay in responding as the correspondence was misaddressed.
In order to get a better understanding of the issues raised in your correspondence, Entergy Nuclear legislative counsel, Mr. Tom Joyce, met with President Pro Tem Theresa Murray on January 8, 2008.
In addition, our Government Affairs Manager, Jack Alexander and Communications Manager, Dave Tarantino, have conducted some informal information gathering with town and state officials.
We will work with Senator Murray to schedule a meeting to begin to address the issues raised in th eZ correspondence concerning the emergency plan for Pilgrim and the Town of Plymouth emergency operations center.
