REPORT OF NOVEMBER 28, 2007, CLOSED MEETING WITH DAIRYLAND POWER COOPERATIVE TO DISCUSS DECOMMISSIONING STATUS AND PLANS FOR DRY CASK STORAGE AT THE LA CROSSE BOILING WATER REACTOR SITE
Dear Mr. Berg:
Enclosed is a report of the November 28, 2007, closed meeting between staff of the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and representatives of Dairyland Power Cooperative (DPC), Sargent & Lundy, and TriVis. The meeting was held at the request of DPC to discuss decommissioning status and its plans for dry cask storage at the La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor site. A portion of the meeting was closed, due to the proprietary and sensitive security-related nature of the information that was discussed, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390. The NRC approved DPCs request to close this portion of the meeting, in a letter dated November 2, 2007. The report of the open portion of the meeting was sent to you in a letter dated December 28, 2007.
